Flakjacket to release new album produced bt Grammy-nominee Marc Fuller. Regional rock band Flakjacket has announced several album release parties to celebrate the completion of the band's new recording, Almost Always Never.

Haven't you ever heard of Ockum's Razor? The simplest explanation is probably the best one. Our name is Ockum's Razor and we are a rock music artist from Saint Louis, Missouri that originated in 2002, specializing in rock along the lines of Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Sevendust & Tool. Genres consisting of everything from acoustic to metal. We look to each other's similarities to better harness the music from deep within, enriched with pure emotion and the vastness of the human condition, we filter our vision through the eyes of:
The David Neil Cline Band is a Heavy Rock act in the tradition of the early 70's genre. Dave's superior Vocals, Guitar and Organ playing gives the band a Montrose, Deep Purple feel while adding Zappa style sarcasm about today's frustrations of the common man. Jeff Gio, long time drummer gives the act it's heavy in the pocket groove with outstanding skills. New comer Linden Grace's classic bass playing locks into the drums helping to give the band it's unique sound. Robert Grugel aka "Burn" rounds out this heavy weight line-up with outstanding chops and skills that complements Dave and the bands overall performance. The David Neil Cline Band is able to connect with there audience leaving them knowing there is someone who can understand and express how they feel.

David Neil Cline Lead Vocals/Guitar/Hammond Organ & Keys
David Neil Cline has been recording and performing heavy rock for 3 decades. As a child, he learned to play music from his multi talented father who in the late 50's early 60's played in the band Danny and the Zeltones (later changed to Zelrocks). The leader of the band being Danny Zella, they released a hand full of records some on the label Big Top Records. David received his first electric guitar and amp at age 9. By age 15 he started playing clubs and weddings in the Detroit band Hustler. At age 16 he played clubs in a band called Sextion. In the late 70's, David and Sextion member John Sanchez formed the original band Predator. Predator preformed, wrote and recorded songs for about 5 years and in 1984 released a cassette album called "The latest and Greatest of Predator". They broke up soon after.
David's first solo album "A Fit of Rage" was recorded in 1985 at the same recording studio that Predator recorded at. It wasn't released until 1987. The album was only released on vinyl on the indie label Gazochtahagen Records, distributed nationally by Important Records. In 1991 it was released on a CD called "A fit of Rage (remix plus two)" with two new bonus tracks added. The album was re-mixed and re-mastered to CD again in 2007 with another two bonus tracks added. This is the 20'Th year anniversary CD for the "A Fit of Rage" album. The CD looks exactly like a mini version of the original vinyl album inside and out including record grooves and all.
In 1986, David formed the band Trama and played the larger venues in the Detroit metro area with bands such as Seduce, Halloween, Murder City(who became Sponge) and opened for many national acts such as Rick Derringer, Foghat, Paul Di'Anno(formally of Iron Maiden), just to name a few.

RECENT NEWS: (Stepping Into The Mainstream) Frank Palangi EP
A solo artist from Upstate, NY ranging from acoustic rock to heavier flavors, takes the big step into mainstream music.
In June of 2010, Frank received the chance to work with veteran producer Rogers Masson in Nashville, TN. Works which include The Mavericks, Day of Fire, and mixing for artists like Marlyn Manson. The rock band Day of Fire, (former lead singer of Full Devil Jacket, Josh Brown) and toured with bands such as Daughtry and Non Point, has stepped in and gave Frank "the baddest rhythm section in the land" says producer Masson. With putting out mainstream CD's under different major labels, they are no stranger to the way the music business works.
Up until this point, Frank has produced, recorded and performed 2 independent solo albums and one promo EP at his home studio working non-stop to get the word out. This experience going to Nashville, TN was a real treat for Frank from the 1st time flying, to recording and working with real professionals. " I had some great vocal advice from Josh Brown and support from the band." Frank said. " The recording went great and Rogers was awesome to work with. I only could image in my head what the outcome come be like for my tracks, and it raised the bar for me. As a producer, Rogers is focused, open-minded, and knowledgeable"
Rogers and Frank both are gearing to have the tracks listened to A&R reps, tour managers, publishing, and radio. 2 more songs are going to be recorded in the near future to finish the EP record. I'm Waiting, It's All Right, and Rememberance have all ready been completed. The styles of the tracks are rock based genre but "As putting myself in the rock genre, I believe you can hit all different sides and not always just be a straight forward rock artist" says Frank. "I have a lot of main influences in my style, and incorporate some of that with a mesh of things. With this EP release as my self titled, I feal like it's my first professional piece of work with a lot heart and taken seriously because this is a career is what I want to do for the rest of my life."
Throughout Frank’s whole music career he has worked non-stop for something to come up. He plays heavily in the local area, promotes on local radio stations from interviews to songs being played, promotes on-line and is always reaching out there for more exposure. ” I can’t thank Day of Fire (Josh Brown, Chris Pangallo, Joe Pangallo, Zach Simms) and Rogers Masson enough for the chance they have givin me and the faith they have believing in my talent.”
